Marmara Bölgesi'ndeki izci liderlerinin izcilik faaliyetlerine katılım nedenleri ve motivasyonel faktörlerin analizi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, izci liderleri' nin izcilik faaliyetlerine katılmaktaki nedenleri ve motivasyonel faktörleri incelemektir. Çalışmada katılımcıların faaliyetlere katılım nedenlerini belirlemek amacıyla "Strigas A. ve Jackson N.(2001)" tarafından geliştirilen, Sertbaş, K. tarafından 2006 yılında Türkçeye uyarlanan MSSV ( Motivational Scale for Sport Volunteers) "Spor Gönüllüleri Motivasyon Ölçeği" kullanılmıştır. Örneklem seçiminde kolayda örnekleme yöntemi, verilerin toplanmasında ise yüz yüze anket yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde SPSS paket programı aracılığıyla Kruskal Wallis, Man Whitney ve Tamamlayıcı İstatistikler kullanıldı. Çalışmaya, 64 erkek (%77,6) 19 kadın (%22,4) olmak üzere toplamda 85 izci lideri gönüllü katılım göstermiştir. Araştırma bulgularına göre faaliyetlere gönüllü katılımın tüm alt boyutları arasında pozitif yönde ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Spor Gönüllüleri Motivasyon Ölçeği tüm alt boyutlarında anlamlı farklılıklar olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Katılımcıların % 38,1 inin 40 ve üzeri yaş grubunda, % 67, 1 ' inin eğitim düzeyinin Üniversite olduğu, % 77,1 ' inin öğretmenlik mesleği yaptığı tespit edilmiştir. Gönüllü liderlerin faaliyetlere katılım nedenleri ve motivasyonel faktörlerin belirlenmesine yönelik soruların değerlendirilmesi sonucunda, Materyal Faktörü, Dış Etkenler Faktörü, Amaçsal Faktörü, Egozim Faktörü ve Boş Zaman Faktörü 1 ile 5 arasında puan almakta olup, çalışmaya katılan Gönüllü İzci Liderleri ' nin İzcilik Faaliyetlerine katılmaktaki en önemli motivasyonel faktörün "Egozim Faktörü" olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

The aim of this study is to investigate the motivational factors and reasons for Scout Leaders' participation in Scouting Activities. Motivational Scale for Sport Volunteers (MSSV), which was developed by Strigas A. and Jackson N. (2001) and adapted into Turkish by SERTBAŞ, K. in 2006, to determine the reasons for participation of the participants in the study, was used. Convenience sampling method was used for sampling and face-to-face survey method was used for data collection. Kruskal Wallis, Man Whitney and Complementary Statistics were used through SPSS package program. A total of 85 scout leaders which include 64 male (77.6%) and 19 female (22.4%) voluntarily participated in the study. According to research findings, it was detected that activities are related to positive aspects among all sub-dimensions of voluntary participation. It was detected that there were significant differences in all sub dimensions of the Sports Volunteer Motivation Scale. It was detected that 38.1% of the participants were in the age group of 40 and over, 67.1% of the participants' educational level was university and 77.1% of the participants were teacher. As a result of evaluating the questions that included the reasons for participation of volunteer leaders in the activities and determining the motivational factors, the Material Factor, External Factors , Objective Factor, Egozim Factor and Leisure Factor scores were obtained between 1 and 5, and it is reached that the most important motivational factor was ''Egoizm Factor'' for Volunteer Scout Leaders participating in the Scouting Activities.
