Bedem eğitimi ve spor öğretmeni adaylarının öğretmenlik mesleğine karşı tutum ve özyeterliliklerinin incelenmesi

Abstract

BEDEN EĞ?T?M? VE SPOR ÖĞRETMEN? ADAYLARININ ÖĞRETMENL?K MESLEĞ?NE KAR?I TUTUM VE ÖZ YETERL?KLER?N?N ?NCELENMES? ÖZET Bu çalı?ma, beden eğitimi ve spor yüksekokullarının 3. ve 4. Sınıfında öğrenim gören öğrencilerin mesleğe kar?ı tutum ve özyeterliklerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmı?tır. Ara?tırma da betimsel tarama yöntemi kullanılarak mevcut durum ortaya konulmaya çalı?ılmı?tır. Ara?tırmanın ilk a?amasında öğrencilerin öğretmenlik mesleğine kar?ı tutumları ile kendilerini algıladıkları özyeterlikleri incelenmi?tir. ?kinci a?ama da ise öğrencilerin mesleğe kar?ı tutumları ile Özyeterlik algılarına olan inançları bağımsız deği?kenler açısından incelenmi?tir. Ara?tırmanın veri testinde 0.05 anlam düzeyi alınmı?tır. Veri analizinde probleme ve alt problemlere ili?kin maddeler gruplandırılmı?tır. Madde frekansı (f) ağırlıklı ortalama (X) ve standart sapma (SS) gibi istatistiksel yöntemler kullanılmı?tır. Ara?tırmanın verilerin toplanması sürecinin ilk a?amasında ki?isel bilgileri ölçmek amacıyla ara?tırmacı tarafından Ki?isel Bilgi formu kullanılmı?tır. ?kinci a?amada öğrencilerin öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik öz yeterlik düzeylerini değerlendirmek için Bars (2016) tarafından geli?tirilen öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik öz yeterlik ölçeği, üçüncü a?amada da öğretmen adaylarının öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumlarının belirlenmesi için Üstüner (2006) tarafından geli?tirilen öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutum ölçeği kullanılmı?tır. Öğretmen adaylarının öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik öz yeterlikleri genel olarak katılıyorum düzeyinde olup öğretmen adaylarının öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik öz yeterlikleri yüksek düzeydedir. Öğretmen adaylarının cinsiyetleri, gelir durumları ve anne eğitim durumları öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik öz yeterlikleri üzerinde genel olarak etkili değildir. Bunu yanı sıra öğretmen adaylarının not ortalamaları öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik öz yeterlikleri üzerinde etkilidir. Bu durum not ortalaması yüksek olan öğretmen adaylarının öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik öz yeterliklerinin not ortalaması dü?ük olan öğretmen adaylarından yüksek olduğunu göstermektedir. Öğretmen adaylarının baba eğitim durumları öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik öz yeterlikleri üzerinde etkilidir. Ölçeğin tüm alt boyutlarında da öğretmen adaylarının baba eğitim durumları öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik öz yeterlikleri üzerinde etkilidir.

THE INVESTIGATION OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SPORTS PRESERVICE TEACHERS' ATTITUDE AND SELF-EFFICACY TOWARDS TEACHING PROFESSION ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to determine the attitudes and self-efficacy of the 3rd and 4th year students of physical education and sport schools towards profession. In the research, current situation was tried to be revealed by using descriptive survey model. In the first stage of the study, students' attitudes towards teaching profession and self-efficacy which they perceive themselves were examined. In the second stage, the attitudes of the students towards the profession and their belief in self-efficacy perception were examined in terms of independent variables. The significance level of the data was 0.05. In data analysis, items related to problems and sub-problems were grouped. Statistical methods such as item frequency (f) weighted average (X) and standard deviation (SD) were used. In the first stage of the data collection process of the research Personal Information Form was used by the researcher in order to measure the personal information. In the second stage, self- efficacy scale which was developed by Bars (2016) was used, to evaluate the self-efficacy levels of students towards teaching profession, in the third stage, the attitude scale towards the teaching profession developed by Üstüner (2006) was used to determine the attitudes of the preservice teachers towards the teaching profession. The self-efficacy of preservice teachers towards the teaching profession is generally in the level of agree and the self-efficacy of preservice teachers towards teaching profession is high. The gender, income status and maternal education status of preservice teachers are not generally effective on their self-efficacy towards teaching profession. In addition, the grade point average of preservice teachers has an impact on the self-efficacy of the teaching profession. This situation shows that the self-efficacy of preservice teachers who have high GPA is higher than the preservice teachers whose GPA is low. The educational status of fathers of the preservice teachers has an effect on self-efficacy of the teaching profession. In all sub-dimensions of the scale, the educational status of fathers of the preservice teachers is effective on the self-efficacy towards the teaching profession.
