UNLIMITED FRATERNITY: ROUTE / TOUR RECOMMENDATIONS IN THE CONTEXT OF INTEGRATED DESTINATION FOR MUS PROVINCE

Abstract

In this study, it is aimed to propose alternative tour routes and tour programs for inclusion in tour programs as integrated destinations with surrounding provinces around Mus province. The presence of cities with important tourist resources that are geographically close to Mus increases the chances of success of the integrated destination application. The study is based on secondary data sources, literature review and expert opinions. Based on information about destination attractiveness factors and integrated destination topics in the literature and the distances of cities close to Mus, integrated destination routes are proposed according to tours on alternative routes. How long the tours will take is the most decisive factor in creating these routes. According to the results of the study, Mus destination can also be included in several different integrated destination tour programs, depending on the time of the tours. These are Mus-Bitlis, Mus-Diyarbakir, Mus-Bitlis-Van, Mus-Bitlis-Diyarbakir, Mus-Agri-Erzurum and Mus-Bitlis-Van-Agri. Thus, Mus attracts more demand as a tourist destination, while tourists have the opportunity to see an alternative destination in their travel programs.
