A FIELD SURVEY ON THE RELATIOSHIP BETWEEN EXPENSE LEVEL OF THE STAFF WORKING IN LIBRARY SERVICES AND JOB SATISFACTION
Özet
The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between job satisfaction and burnout levels of library staff. In order to achieve this aim, two questionnaires consisting of Maslach Burnout Inventory and Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale were used. 475 personnel working in public and university libraries all over the country participated in the research. The data was collected between May and July 2020 by e-mail and face-to-face interviews. Correlation analysis was performed to determine the significance level of demographic variables p <0.05 in the attitudes of the participants on the research data, Kruskal-Wallis Test, Mann-Whitney U Test, and to evaluate the relationship between burnout and job satisfaction. The research results show that the burnout and job satisfaction values of library staff are low.
